I’ve been reading stuff which basically states that when the time is right, finishing this season will be the priority - ie if football kicks off again in mid July, all final games in all leagues will take place and if the following season has to be shortened or delayed then so be it.
Nobody knows. I don’t know. It’s just what I’ve read, I think on the BBC webpage. All the leagues connect, there needs to be a resolution.
Some clarity from the National League would not go amiss either, I thought they were morally bankrupt for allowing the weekends fixtures to go ahead but I understand they were caught between a rock and a hard place in some respects.

Of course the number one priority is to complete this season but that is entirely dependant on how long this thing runs for the latest from the government is to avoid "social contact" with others and avoid social venues such as pubs, clubs, theatres etc and there's no way of knowing how long this will go on for.

The new guidance makes it pretty clear for NL makes their mind up for them.

Northern Prem have sent comms out all fixtures are postponed indefinitely. North West Counties has gone as well tonight.

That is football for at least 12 weeks I suspect.

No I read the threads with outstanding unread posts from the oldest & this was at the bottom of the list. I only saw that on the other thread after I had already posted my message.
