Nothing battling about that win. We were outstanding today.

As has been said earlier, we should have scored several more and thought Thommo had finally scored 'that' goal with a diving header.

On a quite dreadful pitch we played some lovely one touch stuff and in the final few minutes it was real 'ole' stuff.

Nice to see an opposing manager being honest and sincere and telling it like it was.

Wow that is so rare that an opposing manager actually admits that his side was outclassed like that. Can't wait to see the highlights.

You might have a long wait Pete as Kev was in Seattle. Telford might have some I suppose.

I'd imagine they would as there was film of their manager being interviewed & isn't every club supposed to provide highlights of their home matches?

Christ the state of the pitch  Have they had some flooding that's caused that?

Cracking finishes for both the goals. I did note we had a number of other chances we squandered, which has been something of a tale of the season. We're a good team, and we're some of those squandered chances going in away from being a real contender.

Playoffs are still definitely on. I don't really expect us to get anything away at Boston, but if we can beat Farsley then the Gateshead game looks very tasty. Time for a bumper following I reckon. Might make the trip all the way up to Newcastle for that one!

Fantastic ball from laing for the second goal. He was very good at bringing the ball out to start attacks.

Yesterday was also the best I've seen rivers play, he was beating his man regularly, which is something I've been a little frustrated by in the past.

I think that Rivers is an excellent footballer and could be a match winner on his day but, like a lot of talented wingers, can over elaborate at times and forget to get in a telling pass. He has been unlucky at times not to have scored more goals but, as with Hatfield, he might get more of the rub of the green in the closing ten games and get to add to his tally. We really do need to get more goals and it would be nice if some of the great approach play could be finished off by more players.

Agree with that assessment of rivers. Sometimes I'd like to see him push it past a defender and run.

The full back yesterday was very cumbersome, which rivers really enjoyed.

Hatfield has scored some great goals this season all from distance and all away from home.
Would love him to get more shots in at Blackwell Meadows.

From the highlights it’s clear the players are starting to heed the managers request to shoot more.
