Tough game as they are always a tough nut to crack.
Not sure what the current state of the pitch is but storm Jorge is on the way so could be in some doubt but really hope it goes ahead.

I can't see it looking at the forecast, I think it will be called off early to avoid them travelling 🥺

Is the forecast that bad? Lots of "light rain" and some windy wind.

Brackley are staying over at Blackwell Grange Friday night so they should be fresh, should be a competitive game.

Where's the Darlo drummer when you need him for a night shift.

Then I wouldn't expect an early decision on the state of the pitch, as they wouldn't call the game off before Brackley travelled up.

That’s a good point Pete.

We won't have to. They chose to travel up the night before.

Surely they couldn't sting us with the bill for that if they have chosen to travel up the night before and they know what the forecast is like.

It has to be in serious doubt. The forecast has rain basically most of the evening until around 8-9am... dry and windy after that, but might be damage done at that stage. Not sure any amount of forks in the pitch will do it.

Sick of this weather like :(

At least the rain hasn't been heavy this afternoon.

Not too much rain overnight and not much forecast until around kick-off, so hopefully the game should go ahead.

Weather in Darlo very different to Love Island but Trots would get a warm welcome back

Important game today as we need to be winning at home if we are to stand any chance of making the playoffs. Has a similar feel to the Chester home game 3 months ago when we were playing a side near the top and we were coming into the game after some indifferent results. We upped our game and were convincing winners that day and I’m hoping for similar today. We can do without any floodlight issues !

Wow, 7 games called off in our league this morning, all waterlogged.

That’s just about the team I would have picked personally. I hope it’s a proper 4-3-3, attacking but with a really solid midfield.

I think we should of won that, we had the chances and a sloppy goal to give away.

2 points dropped after a good first half. Took our foot off pedal in 2nd half & instead of pressing for more goals, sat back & 1 mistake let them in for equalizer. Thommo made a bit of difference being more direct & getting into the box, but lack of a cutting edge up front let us down.

A draw against brackley is a decent result, but it should have been a win. Which probably sums up where we are at the moment - almost a very decent side.

Rubbish attendance though if I heard correctly

O'Neill should help with the cutting edge bit going forward.

Fair result.. Thought Laing's pass to Justin was superb in the 2nd half
