Harvey Saunders
Come on as a sub tonight for Fleetwood and very close to scoring. Lobbed the keeper who somehow managed to scramble it away.

Re: Harvey Saunders
Saw the incident on Sky sport & it looked easier to score than miss. Good to see he's getting a chance.
Re: Harvey Saunders
Was it a lob though? Or was it actually a chip? Sorry, it's a bit of a bugbear of mine.
Anyways, it looks like he might be getting a bit of game time now in the next few matches.

Re: Harvey Saunders
I would say a lob is elevating a ball that is already in the air and a chip is lifting the ball off the ground.
Failing that a lob is the first 3 letters of lobster and a chip is something to eat with your fish!

Re: Harvey Saunders
Do we have a sell on clause for Harvey & if so does anybody know the percentage?

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Harvey Saunders
In great form at present. Scored last Saturday at Fleetwood and then a hat trick in the cup midweek. Also on the scoresheet tonight against Hull. He really seems to be flourishing.

Re: Harvey Saunders
Another goal and assist added
Re: Harvey Saunders
I hope have a sell on clause!!
Re: Harvey Saunders
Good on you Harvey, certainly proved me wrong.
Tommy Wright doesn’t get much credit on here (rightly so) but I think he played his part in Harvey’s development.
Not sure we have a sell on clause mind!

Re: Harvey Saunders
The add ons were mentioned but weren't explicit - but a sell on would be pretty standard.
and so would senior appearances...
Re: Harvey Saunders
I saw this yesterday and genuinely have no recollection of writing it nor what it was supposed to mean.Vodka_Vic wrote:Spyman, are you the new Hutchy?
I can only assume I had just got in from the pub.

I think you were parodying Dilly-dilly - at least that's how I read it at the time.
You may also have been drunk though!
Re: Harvey Saunders
Ah ok yes that rings a bell.
Yes a bit of both I suspect....

Re: Harvey Saunders
Absolutely delighted for him. He's still a young lad with the potential to get better and I'm sure the rough and tumble of the NLN did him no harm at all.
If he could go on to be a superstar and we have a nice sell-on clause, that'd be real nice too

Re: Harvey Saunders
Enjoyed watching him score in the football league and even more amused by that sea shanty Fleetwood use for their goal celebration
Re: Harvey Saunders
I have heard that we get money for each goal he scores and every appearance in the First team if he gets on before the 75 minute .
