Hatfield & Wheatley
Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
At least he got the CEO title right this time. Last time he was throwing accusations around he called him our MD.

Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
I think if our budget is reduced next year, then I would be fearful that AA would want to move on, especially if he was expecting to have the funding for possibly a big push next year. I'm also a 500 club member who's membership will run out this season, but I may not be in a position to afford a ST. So I wouldn't assume that all 500 club members will buy a ST.quakersfan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:40 pmThat’s a bit harsh, look at my previous posts I’m normally right on things. To compete in the next league you need at least £500k/£600k with all the extra costs. We don't have a money tree our commercial Director has gone so I’m just repeating on what I’ve heard is that next years budget will likely be less than our current wage bill.Darlogramps wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 9:27 amDon’t give him what he wants. He’s a s***-stirrer with an agenda and an axe to grind.
Given we don’t know what division we’ll be in next season, anyone claiming to know what our budget is should be given a wide berth.
As for your comment on gloom and doom I’d love to competing with a really good budget next season be that in this league or NL but I’m realistic.
We will have some extra income from the 500 club finishing for some but you have to get them to sign up.
Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
Need to hold on to these two whilst not breaking the budget. Their stock must be on the rise but would be so easy to cash in and very difficult to replace. Success on the pitch is one thing that would be in our favour to get them to take up their option & extend their contracts

I have to say when I’ve attended hospitality this season 8/9 times I’ve always seen DJ mixing and chatting so you are wrong there.Dilly-dilly wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 6:16 pmSorry that's complete Tosh.

Dilly dally talks utter shite - I have no axe to grind all I’ve said is I’ve heard budget will be reduced next year, if you can say otherwise I’d be delighted to hear we have a competitive budget.Maurice_Peddelty wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 7:15 pmSeems like Dilly-Dally and quakersfan are falling over themselves to see who can grind their axes the hardest!

It’s not harsh. You’re a s***-stirrer with an axe to grind, it’s blatantly clear. You repeatedly call for Fan’s Forums, have made repeated pops at the DFCSG and whip up everything into being a big crisis. Any thread where there’s a departure or anything remotely negative, you leap straight into it, stirring the pot.quakersfan wrote:That’s a bit harsh, look at my previous posts I’m normally right on things. Take this thread - you snidely drop in that you’ve “heard” the budget is will be reduced. What you ignore is our budget is currently a little higher to cover three long-term injuries and the demanding winter fixture list.
You could easily have added in those obvious details, but left them out because you knew it would whip people up into a frenzy. So you’re a troll or a s***-stirrer. Or both.
And as I pointed out earlier, until you know what division we’ll be in, there’s no way anyone can make a final decision regarding the budget. So how can anyone know it’ll be cut? They can’t.
You’re not usually right on things at all either. Most of the time it’s nonsense.
General rule of thumb, people who post stuff anonymously and then get stroppy when challenged tend to be incorrect.

Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
The AGM will be just to ratify 18/19 accounts so nothing contentious there, so not sure what you are on about as you talk in riddles.

Go on then, what will be revealed? You obviously think you know what's going on, so either put up or shut upDilly-dilly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 6:27 amReally . Can't wait for AGM .

You're either Morley or very close to him. Either way you're currently embarrassing yourself.Dilly-dilly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 6:27 amReally . Can't wait for AGM .

Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
Do tell me what I will be thanking you for? So far, your life on this forum has involved spreading barely legible rumours, based on a clear grudge you have against the people running the club.Dilly-dilly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:36 amNeither.

You also appeared, on this forum, in the immediate aftermath of Morley's departure, with claims of inside knowledge of how 'badly' the club is being ran. Seems a bit suspicious to me.

Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
It's Hutchy on the wind-up man. Not sure if he's mates with Craig Morley or has something against David Johnston.
Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
Indeed, but the thing is, it's working. He's getting an awful lot of nibbles.al_quaker wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:38 amSo you're not going to reveal what you (think you) knowDilly-dilly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:36 amNeither.

Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
Keeping Will is vital for me (if it is within budget of course) as it shows ambition and should hopefully keep management and fans happy.
Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
Presumably Armstrong will want to keep him, so if Hatfield wants to stay you'd imagine a new deal should get done, which would be good for us going into next season
Re: Hatfield & Wheatley
All seems pretty standard to me. Player out of contact fishing for a better deal. Presumably the club have approved him being interviewed by Stoddart. Looks like a quiet news day and a bit of a non story at present. He is worth a rise and as long as it is affordable he should get one.
