Re: Jason Kennedy
I hope if you were to get into play-offs, and it goes to penalties he has to take one.
Re: Jason Kennedy
Not sure his owld legs will be up to performing on a pitch that resembles a scene from 1917.

Re: Jason Kennedy
Injury prone isn't he?
Good player but keeping him fit would be the challenge. Sadly I think his best days are behind him, not sure where he would fit in the Spenny team.

1 Stop leaving them switched on and you won't get as many games called off
2 Shite
3 About the same but ours hasn't got red tape barriers or falling down deathtrap fences
4 overpaid vibe driven mercenaries
5 About 600 fans that actually pay to attend, how much have they raised for spennymoor? Think ours have raised about 1.2 million since 2012
6 Just arrogant pricks that the majority of North East football think are getting a bit to big for there boots.

Re: Jason Kennedy
I shouldn't give any oxygen to this plum sac, but go on then, let's have a nibble...
1 Better pitch with sprinklers - Well done for having sprinklers paid for by the sprinkler fairies but let me just remind you that we do have a good pitch ourselves, and it is one that is flat and not on a 10% gradient. Our pitch is better.
2 Better flood lights - Is that so? Our flood lights are good enough for the next level as are yours. The only way to settle this one is by comparing the lux readings rather than making unsubstantiated claims.
3 Better ground - all down to opinions isn't it? To be fair, I like Spendy's ground, however our ground is built properly. For example nothing collapses when you lean on it.
4 Better team - last time I looked at the table we were above you, and we got further in the cups.
5 Better fans - fuck off. We have an implausibly large away following compared to home attendances, the best in non league. You take comparatively fuck all away because your fans are mainly new bandwagon jumpers attracted by free season tickets. They just don't have that loyalty like ours do, and neither do they fund the club in the same way that our unbelievable fans do. You will NEVER emulate Darlo fans, not ever.
6 No scum bag fans - there are plenty of scum bags in Spendy, as there are in Darlo. I've seen some of your fans giving it large on several occasions.

Re: Jason Kennedy
I remember his goal at Rochdale. He must be well past his best by now, Hatfield is way better.

I dont have any thoughts on it...polarbear wrote:thoughts
He once played for us, he now plays for you, his career is winding down, what exactly is there to have thoughts on...

'Thoughts' by Jason Kennedy: a wistful Jason struggles to hold onto his identity as a footballer when, seduced by the promise of pop-up sprinklers, he spends a month aimlessly running up and down what seems to be little more than a hilly bog, staring up at the sky.
"Remember, it's all about the vibes, Jase," they keep on telling him. By the end of the month though, he scarcely even recognises this spherical object he's been squinting up at these past few weeks and realises his career may soon be over (which is a shame, as he's still not that old and used to be decent back in the day).
Re: Jason Kennedy
Kennedy was one of my favourite players to watch when he was with us to be honest. No idea what he is like now find it hard to imagine he would have the energy of Hatfield though.
Re: Jason Kennedy
Yep, a class act 12 years ago but seems to have had a lot of injury problems since and was in a wheelchair a couple of years ago.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Jason Kennedy
Wouldn't we be better off finding a younger player who plays now like Jason did then ? It rarely goes well for 'second spells' especially after this length of time - I can only think of Lance Robson who really managed the trick. Also, the players we have are good enough.

Yes we would. That's why nobody is suggesting we sign him.Wiseacre wrote:Wouldn't we be better off finding a younger player who plays now like Jason did then ?
