Darlington, Boston, Gateshead & Altrincham won, Spennymoor, Farsley, Southport & Guiseley lost

There are many chapters to be written for this season, it feels like the top four teams have the wind in their backs right now and the group behind are finding themselves consistency wise. Who will make the playoffs, it is exciting to follow, hopefully Darlington is one of those teams.

Going for the league championship, Kings Lynn keep winning while York chase behind
...................... Pd .W D L..W D L...F...A..GD..Pts
01. Kings Lynn..... 24 10 3 0.. 6 3 .2. 55 31. 24.. 54
02. York............ 25.. 6 4 2.. 8 4 .1. 38 16. 22.. 50

Breaking away from the playoff chasing pack, with the games in hand, they can be within a win of York.

04. Brackley....... 23.. 7 5 0.. 5 2 .4. 45 14. 31.. 43

In the playoff hunt, Spennymoor, Farsley, Southport & Guiseley lose the teams that before the games were played were fifth through eighth, now four teams are separated by goal difference, Southport continue to slide. Darlington’s superior home record has propelled them up the table, their game in hand if won can have them in the top 7. Gateshead and Altrincham can have similar feelings of a Top 7 playoff place, Altrincham have started winning away games that has helped elevate them.
...................... Pd .W D L..W D L...F...A..GD..Pts
05. Spennymoor... 24.. 8 1 2.. 2 6 .5. 41 32. ..9.. 37

12. Altrincham.... 21.. 7 2 1.. 2 4 .5. 35 27. ..8.. 33

The inconsistents, teams that look too strong to be relegated, but too inconsistent to move towards the playoff group. Alfreton’s win has them rise to the top, Kettering’s win over Farsley has them join this group. Hereford, Kidderminster and Gloucester must hope that Curzon Ashton and Blyth both don’t catch fire and gather points quickly.

Avoiding relegation, Curzon Ashton has a small cushion over Blyth, the two meet next Saturday in Blyth after playing midweek games, both away from home.

Blyth are certainly trying to make it more than 2 teams involved in the relegation battle. We could do with them to get some sort of result at Altrincham on Tuesday evening. Good work Ginge as per usual.

Yes, a Blyth result at Altrincham would be nice, I don't know where Altrincham can go, they are definitely one of our rivals, back when I did the first one writeup of the season, they seemed in the wrong place in the table

It just goes to show that if you can string a few results together that you can leap up the table, as has been shown by our recent string of excellent results. It's good to see that Blyth are making a fight of it & Curzon Ashton must be worriedly looking over their shoulders.

Agreed, let’s see how we do, and be aware of Altrincham as a challenger, a lot of teams after the last three playoff places, anyone with an extended cold spell will be caught up (Southport) or left behind (Hereford). I agree with the two horse race at the bottom, I’d prefer to be Blyth than Curzon Ashton.

Yep 4 points out of the last 2 games, has transformed the relegation battle. It's looking bleak for Bradford PA, they could be already relegated by the time we play at their place on Good Friday.

I'd definitely prefer Blyth to stay up. They're pretty dreadful though, so i'm not convinced. Maybe if they keep Roberts all season... (I can't understand why he's there to be honest, he's good enough to be playing pro).

We can absolutely make the playoffs. I don't think it matters if we don't, but this is a good team. Possibly the best we've had at this level.

Good result for us Curzon Ashton getting a point at Boston, last night. In the unlikely event that we lose tonight, Boston won't be feeling too confident in facing us on Saturday.
