Hedley, Storey and Martin

Worst kept secret is out AA has agreed terms with Martin for January. Good news on the other two signings, they have both deserved contracts in my view.

Big boost to the squad ahead of York game. Hope Martin is worth the wait but if AA wants the lad, that's a good start.

Yes he should be available for games from the 1st Jan, including Spennymoor away.

With Martin agreeing terms I assume that's just loan terms until he goes back to Iceland?

On the official website that Connell is unavailable tomorrow.Wonder if that’s from S Shields or the player himself.

Why would Shield prevent him from playing?

He won't. New Year's Day is a bank holiday, so there will be nobody at the FA to rubber stamp his registration on the 1st.

Who say's he is going back to Iceland? It might be his boyhood dream to play for his hometown club.

I'm just guessing mind, I don't know if he is still contracted to an icelandic club or if he left them. One thing is for sure, he gets through a lot of clubs - shades of Reece Styche there - let's hope he takes to playing for Darlo like Stychey did!
