Most Consecutive Wins ?
Most Consecutive Wins ?
Does anybody know what is our record number of consecutive wins , and when?
Re: Most Consecutive Wins ?
having thumbed through my copy of frank tweddles ' Quakers make history' : chapter two 'those roaring twenties' it seems that we won six on the bounce in 1924-25 so we're on course to make more history. and there's still the English cup - what a team.
Re: Most Consecutive Wins ?
Not sure what our record is but we've won more than 6 in a row in all competitions fairly recently. You can see the recent results on http://www.darlostats.co.uk/
During the 2012/13 Northern League season we won 17 games on the bounce between Boxing Day 2012 and the 15th April 2013.
During the 2014/15 Evo-Stik First Divison North season we won 11 games in all competitions between 27th September 2014 and 8th November 2014. That included two FA Trophy games as well.
During the 2015/16 season we did 8 wins in a row and the last time we did 6 in a row was also at the end of the 2015/16 season.
So we've got a ways to go yet.

You've obviously been asleep the last 7 years then!
Of course, you're probably just thinking of our time in the league - but if our mega winning run in the Northern League doesn't count, then the winning streaks we've had in the Evostik and NLN don't count either, so neither can this one.
If this run does count, then other runs as a fan owned club count, so we've got a way to go yet

Who did we beat in the 2014 / 2025 FA Trophy. I thought that we hadn't won a Trophy game since we re-started
