Looking forward to this one, team should be well rested and ready to go, hopefully Thompson is fully recovered and get some game time.
Should be no problems with the weather, probably a bit nippy, would like 1500 for this one

Kidderminster will bring no fans so I think hoping for 1,500 on a midweek is hopelessly optimistic, and will lead to guaranteed disappointment for you.

OK we've won 5 in a row and are playing entertaining football, but the average man in the street won't know that as he'll just look at the league table and see us bottom half.

It wouldn't surprise me to see us struggle to break 1,100. Any more than 1,200 and I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'd like to see us get 1300 to 1400, no home game for a while, plus being on a great run should bring in a few more.

Much more interest in this game than would have been the case a few weeks ago, win tomorrow and Saturday at home to Hereford and we should find ourselves in a playoff position.Would not be disappointed with 4 points but 6 would be brilliant.

Other people only come around when it's all over the press and the team is challenging for promotion.

Was just looking at Harriers' last game when they beat Farsley 2-0 at home. They seem to play their football on the deck but they were very fortuitous with their first goal which was a ridiculous penalty call by the ref. A Farsley player very fairly cleared the ball and Harriers' Ashley Chambers did an elaborate balletic fall over his leg to con the ref who pointed to the spot. It was laughable. They've signed the tricky Ashley Hemmings and recently got new owners, who say they will make the club self-sustainable. Harriers are bringing a supporters' coach.

Really fancy our chances tonight, although i fear the crowd will be well below 1,500. It's freezing cold and Liverpool v Arsenal and Chelsea v Man united may well sway a number of floating voters. Keeping some momentum going with a win is the only thing that matters tonight though.

This has been my first season following the club regularly for about seven years, and i'm really enjoying it. The football seems much better than previous seasons and it's great to finally connect with the team again. Looking forward to tonight and Hereford on Saturday, before dragging a car full down to Walsall the following week.

Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all on sky. With the exception of Newcastle there’s all our local glory hunters sorted for tonight so can’t see any floaters coming to this. 1150 max, anymore and I’ll be do cartwheels.

There'll be a bus load from Kidderminster at most. At least the weather is alright, which will help.

"Kidderminster" and "decent travelling contingent" do not belong together in the same sentence.

Even in the league they struggled to bring 100.

Kidderminster are a traditional non league club (a big non league club to be fair), and traditional non league clubs do not take numbers away.

I'm talking about decent for this level. Which is largely characterised by a handful of diehards. Former league clubs excepted.

Noticed on the official website preview for the game that it says 'David Atkinson is out for at least another month with an ankle injury' and it's said this for at least the last couple of weeks. It reminds me of that player we had, was it Bridge-Wilkinson, who was always 'two weeks away from full fitness'
Anyway, does anyone know it Holmes and Atky have had their respective ops?

It was the legendary Hodgy signing Stephen Thomas who was always two weeks away.

All 3 long term absentees have had their operations. I think we’re looking at mid Jan / early Feb for Atkinson depending how long it takes to get him up to speed again.

Does half term really boost our crowds? I can't say i've ever noticed an increase? I hope you're right. But i'd guess about 1,300.

Halloween and Bonfire Night coming up. These all cost money and people have limited funds.

Add to the fact it is a cold night.


these things add up to disincentives for the floating person. They may not put off the die hards, but they don't encourage the less committed

On the downside, many families have a week away during the half-term, so that will knock a few off the crowd.

Got to be 1200 here

And they recently beat third in the table so really feels we're on a roll and getting it together.

Thought we played some good stuff in the first half but it was a bit backs to the wall in the second and that save at the end was a worldly. You have to ask yourself how good must the Shields keeper be to be keeping Liam out of the side. Hopefully a deal can be done for at least another months loan. Evidently he wants to stay but it’s up to his employers at the end of the day.

I'm also now pleasantly surprised....and so's my wife
