Christmas Draw
We are aiming to raise lots of money as my description below :-
Win £1,000 in our great Darlington FC Christmas Draw!
Darlington Football Club today launches our Grand Christmas Charity Draw, with some great prizes available!
The top prize will be £1,000, and you can also win:
• £500
• An EBAC washing machine
• £250
• One of 20 bottles of spirits
Tickets are priced at £1, and the draw will be made at our Christmas Night Out in the Dolphin Centre, on Friday 20th December, beginning at 7.30pm.
Not only is the draw in aid of Darlington FC funds, but it will also benefit our chosen charity, the children’s ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital. The charity is run by Pat Chambers, so please support it as much as possible.
DFCSG board director Rob Duncan said; “We have started selling tickets in October so then we can sell as many as possible in the run up to Christmas, and as well as for the benefit of the club, it’s for a great cause as well.
The club is looking for volunteers to sell the tickets.
DFCSG member Rob Duncan, who is coordinating the organisation of the ticket sales, said; “We are asking for 100 fans to take 100 tickets each and sell them to family, friends and workmates. The more people that help, the more tickets we sell.”
If you want to help, drop me a line on rob.duncan@darlingtonfc.org. and I will get in touch with you.
Tickets will also be on sale in Quaker Retail, from the DFCSG table on match days and on the supporters’ bus to away matches, and MySportsWear at Morton Park.

Re: Christmas Draw
Actually being an Englishman living in wales at any point during any rugby is hard work... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.. Even after a great performance like this morning its a nightmare... Walesonline is so anti English in every thing they say its unbelievable

Re: Christmas Draw
Just an update on the Christmas Draw, we have now sold 2000 tickets with approximately another 1500 tickets out to people helping with selling.
I would like another 30 + fans to take up 100 tickets (or even 50) and really give this fundraiser a big push in the next 4 weeks. If you can help come and see me at the fans table on Saturday in the bar.
WE have said that we will have 20 bottles of spirits to be won, I would like some of you to donate a bottle if you can, at present we have 5 bottles promised.
Remember that Quaker Retail are also selling tickets as well as My Sports Wear at Morton Park too

Re: Christmas Draw
Could I ask if you have taken tickets from me to sell on I would appreciate if you could bring along the stubs and cash to the game tomorrow.
We still have 2 weeks to go though so if you can still sell them please do!
We now have 18 bottles of spirits donated only 2 to go if anyone has one spare.
If we get all the money in to tickets out I estimate we can reach a figure of around £5k

Re: Christmas Draw
A Chester fan came over before the match & bought a Christmas Draw ticket. He then proceeded to give the ticket to me & said good luck with your club. Great gesture, if I win on that ticket I'll give the money back to the club.

Re: Christmas Draw
Thanks to everyone who brought a bottle to the game, we now have enough for the Xmas draw.
I took in a great amount of cash and ticket stubs yesterday but we still have around 1000 tickets out with people to sell, we still have 12 days to go but I would appreciate if you could get them to me asap.

Re: Christmas Draw
Pikilaty, apart from the two articles on the club website and a clear message from Rob at the beginning of the thread I'm not sure what you're asking. I note you've only registered on here today and you've also commented about you wish we'd mentioned the Amazon link-its been stuck at the top of the board for ages. Are you mischief making and perhaps the Christmas Elf in disguise?

It’ll be a Spambot. If you notice, it’s exactly the same post as JoeJacques earlier in the thread.don'tbuythesun wrote:Pikilaty, apart from the two articles on the club website and a clear message from Rob at the beginning of the thread I'm not sure what you're asking.
