As Elliott has an injury issue, it's good news that we have been able to bring in a well regarded, well respected, experienced keeper like Connell.

The lad did well for us at Leamington. We do need more clean sheets for us to have a good season.

It's quite unusual for lower league side, to loan a player to a higher league side. Welcome to the club Liam.

Sounds harsh but I don’t think Elliott would have kept Leamington out yesterday or commanded his box like Connell did. He was immense and inspired confidence in both the back four and the travelling fans. Hopefully we can keep him

Connell made a crucial save at 2mns to deny our customary "gift" goal and then again just after we took the lead. Then he directed the defence during their spell of pressure which helped the back four to gain confidence. It lead to a great away win & now AA has a tough decision as to who gets to wear the gloves against Boston.

For me I don’t think it’s a tough decision to make - Connell kept a clean sheet and was MOM - he’s got to stay in the team

For me, Elliot has been average at best all season and very suspect in shot-stopping and commanding his 6-yard area.

Nothing to do with having a new keeper in, these have been my thoughts since earlier in the season.
Seems Alun Armstrong thinks something similar.

Whilst I may not disagree, what makes you think Armstrong agrees with you?

Why just bring it up now after a debut of the new Keeper???

The lad is carrying a knock so it make sense to go careful with him

just because I don't post every thought I have on here does not mean I have not mentioned to other people before regarding Elliot just my thoughts and it seems other people agree too.
Its all about opinions you have yours and I will have mine not that I care what yours are either
