How did he get on yesterday. Asking a lot to come in with little preparation, especially against the sort of hoofball that Alfreton use. By the sound of it he did OK.

Re: Alex Storey
Done ok, got bullied a little bit in the first half along with Galbraith but that was probably expected against two very aggressive style forwards and his first game at this level. Was generally steady away, hard to judge on one game, his biggest challenge will be getting enough game time with Laing and Galbraith the favourite partnership bit I guess the dual terms may support that.

Re: Alex Storey
As AA pointed out in his interview, He said the lad said it's way harder than playing in the Northern League but he did well

It's a huge step up. It's like going straight from L2 to Premiership.HarrytheQuaker wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 9:21 amAs AA pointed out in his interview, He said the lad said it's way harder than playing in the Northern League but he did well

Any player will need time to adjust before you see him at his best

Re: Alex Storey
I thought he did well bearing in mind the opposition tactics.
