Because Campbell doesn't run around like a headless chicken.
Campbell runs around loads and loads - that in itself should endear him to a lot of our fan base who's only requirement for a player seems to be "runs around a lot".

For me, he wasn't getting in and around the box enough and not getting on the end of enough chances. But he seems to be gambling on keepers spilling shots more now, and his last 3 goals have come in open play and well within the 18 yard box. We all know he can hit a good long range effort and score a free kick, it was the in box stuff that needed improve for me - this seems to be happening. If he develops a greedy streak and gets more shots off, then he might achieve a lot.

So overall, 6 in 12 isn't too bad a return, and his effort on the pitch can't be questioned. There's a good chance that if he keeps improving in the box and avoids injuries that he can get near the magic 20.

Agree Quakerz from what I can see with him he actually wanted to be involved with too much too deep. From what I have seen of Campbell he could actually play a number of attacking roles (winger, striker and supporting striker) quite capably...the thing we need him to focus on is the striker role as we have other players doing those other roles.

For me, we don't use his pace enough. He makes any number of runs across the backlines, where a through ball would put him clear, only for our midfielders to choose the ball out to the wing instead.

Two more signings at Bradford PA yesterday, including another central defender to join Heaton. They started the season with a disastrous entirely new team and now that team has pretty much been completely replaced by another new team. Must have been quite a wad of notes down the back of that sofa :D

It’s completely baffling why money continues to be thrown at the likes of BPA, Gateshead and The Pride boys ,with poor fan bases and large squads.Crazy.

Heaton suspended today for last week's red card. Good game to miss. As they say, you're always a better player out of the side

There's no denying that. After 12 games this is their third management set-up and when Bower gets down to business and starts recycling they will effectively have their third squad of players.

So did the Texan millionaire who was going to withdraw funds actually do so, or did he never leave and is starting to pour the money in again?

He's still there and witnessed the 8-0 drubbing at Brackley which prompted him to bring Bower back. Looks like his oil well is pumping the cash back in again when faced with the prospect of relegation.

A bit like McGill at York, who stopped putting money in but actually didn't.
