Sounds like those vibes up the road have been dampened, what a start! Image

Went for a look at Spenny on Saturday as I didn’t fancy the drive to Kings Lynn.Best described as just another run of the mill team and fortunate to win against 10 men with an injury time goal. The pitch is still like a ski slope although it is in very good nick and there is building work going on at the “high”end.
The chuck wagon though is a bargain,£3.50 for a tray of chips iand £5 (yes five pounds)for a burger :o .The Chester lads were well impressed.

I wonder if they're just sufffering a hangover from last season. They've surely too talented a squad to languish in the bottom half for too long

Maybe they need an investor, we seem to need one after every defeat so they should think about it also

Spenny squad obviously not quite big or good enough to cope with having to play 5 times in 15 days. ;)

Well, before we play tonight we seem to be about on par with Spenny in terms of where we find ourselves, far too near the bottom of the league. I'm sure they started the season with higher expectations than we did, but that doesn't count for much when you are falling down the league and can't seem to arrest that momentum. If they continue to find themselves in trouble in another few weeks time I'm sure they will be able to splash the cash and dig themselves out. We, on the other hand, are not so fortunate. We really do need to get a win tonight and follow it up with a plan that will get some points on the board away from home.
