BBC ineptitude
BBC ineptitude
Small thing I know but the beeb still haven’t woken up to the fact that only two clubs will be relegated from NLN this season

If a job's worth doing Spen - it's worth doing well.

That could be taken one of two ways!theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 3:06 pmIf a job's worth doing Spen - it's worth doing well.
The BBC could easily say its not worth doing and cut its already paltry coverage of step 2!
In the grand scheme of things, does the BBC having this wrong really matter
Re: BBC ineptitude
You're right, Spen - no bother at all that TPOCD are currently proudly appearing in the relegation zone. Vibey.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

In the grand scheme of things does it really matter what Spen says?
Re: BBC ineptitude
Speaking of useless websites has anyone looked at the NL website this season? Absolutely hopeless. The results section doesn't even give the goal scorers. The so-called 'Match Centre' is a very grand name for what is a pretty hopeless 'feature' - even that doesn't give scorers for some games, and it contains a seemingly random selection of information that is not consistent for each game. Some examples from a few weeks back: Aldershot v Fylde just had the score, as did Barnet v Yeovil; Chorley v Bromley had the away team line up and the score, as did Blyth v Gloucester, while Farsley v Darlington just had the home team line up and the score; Harrogate v Solihull had an 'as it happened' section but that didn't even give the Harrogate scorers' names; Stockport v Maidenhead had a link to a match report, but nothing else; Boston v Chester had an 'as it happened', a link to a report, and one (just one, mind) of the line-ups.
It's completely inconsistent and haphazard, or in most cases, lacking.
