Well the council in theory but if we mean just the terrace then ours is our own also.HarrytheQuaker wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 8:33 pmAt least it's there ownrobsraiders wrote:Listened on radio Spennymoor where 2nd best in whole game, looking forward to standing on that crumbling terrace next season again !

Safe to say I would rather have a ground just for ourselves and that we don't share with the actual land owners.

very poignant point. I know it's not been £1million this season, but fair play to one man being behind that. I wonder if Brad has / will put in a strategy / funding plan for when he moves on.

It’s a brutal way to finish a season. On just one scored or missed penalty.
I remember going to Rochdale in 2008 season. Kennedy hit a weak penalty, and that was it/End of!
I suppose Chorley finished 2nd, so it was kind of their spot up for grabs.

It's a brutal way to decide a season.
Over the Season Chorley gained more points than Spennymoor (despite losing twice to them!)
On the day of the final, Chorley were the better team over the 120 minutes.
I have no complaints at the result. Good luck to Chorley next season in the National League
I do have sympathy for any player who misses a penalty in a shootout. It must be hard for any player ( thinks Pearce, Waddle, Southgate for England Michael Gray for Sunderland in 98)to start the list) to get over the upset and feeling of letting down his teammates & the fans.

Even worse, that was the last kick of the season. First nine penalties were scored in the shootout, and he missed the decider.theoriginalfatcat wrote:It’s a brutal way to finish a season. On just one scored or missed penalty.

Not quite - Kennedy missed our last penalty but Rochdale still had to take (and score) theirs.

We broke down on the way to Rochdale and had to hitch hike. It was a long walk, a bus, a train and a bus home....a bad day all round!
