I guess it depends on whether they want to play regular football in front of big crowds or get splinters in their backsides due to sitting on the bench most of the time for big money. Hopefully they prefer to play.

They'll be wanting to line up three or four back-ups for Curtis who is 37 now.

Spenny will have a bigger squad than Chelsea soon. One way or another there's sure to be some good players becoming available.
Yeah there’ll certainly be a few players available for Shields to pick up for a fee.
I reckon we will get Laing & Rivers, Spenny and Shields have big pockets

There's worse keepers out there than Jameson, tbh. Strange about turn for him, but if Armstrong does come here, i can see it happening. He's done well there, and is probably a better keep than when he left us.

About turn in that he got out the dip in confidence he was going through and got back on track in front of fans who didn't get on his back for every mistake he made.

Jameson was an excellent Evostik keeper, and a good enough NLN keeper when he was here last time.

Yes he had a run of bloopers but everybody was on his back - but IMO he was still good enough. He's a better keeper than Maddison that's for sure, and that's based on the Jameson of then, not now.

I'd have him back no probs.

Let’s face it, most NLN keepers will have a run of bloopers at this level. That’s why they play at this level. Even Bartlett threw a few in for York last season.

Pete Jameson - Blyth supporters player of the year & players player of the year this season.

He's an excellent keeper & has improved at Blyth under a manager who has restored his confidence after MG destroyed it.

I laughed out loud. Spenny signing a player just to deny you lot? Are you really that stupid!? :D

It happens, just like when Alexis Sanchez was feeling the Man U vibes last year.

Deluded and obsessed with us. Enjoy raising even more funds just to keep yourselves afloat and maintain midtable mediocrity for another year, we'll think of you in our title/playoff contendership, again  :shh:

This Spendy fan is the infamous Stevie Guy. The bloke whose Twitter timeline is crammed full of references to “Darlo 1883”, whose utterances on NonBrainZone are relentlessly about us, and, as you’ve pointed out, has created his own account on here.

But apparently we’re the obsessed ones. What’s that phrase about it taking one to know one?

His Twitter meltdown at Ghost_of_1883’s post is quite something to behold. Embarrassing and hilarious at the same time.

If ever you're bored or miserable:

Are you having a crisis over who you support, Darlo or Spendymong

At least our Clubs destiny is in our own hands without, I rather be rattling buckets and fund-raising for the Club to remain afloat instead of relying on a Chairman, who would, if he decided to pull the plug would leave you absolutely fucked

This is how fan ownership works. Something you may have to discover for yourselves if Brad ever decides there's nowt left in the bank.

You might have a huge indecipherable acronym but you have no idea of the pride we all have in owning our club. Now run along while we raise that £80,000. Back to the Spenny forum young man.

At least we are capable of raising funds ourselves instead of relying on a sugar daddy.
How did your last fundraising push go? Just as well Brad paid for the seats because you sure wouldnt have managed it without him.
