Darlo Sponsor a Goal Update

Post by Sponsor A Goal Admin » Mon Apr 22, 2019 10:32 am

(Just been posted on Twitter - https://twitter.com/Darlogoals/status/1 ... 6872017920)

With 2 games to go, an update on where we are with the scheme this year.

If everyone pays up (which hasn't happened in prev seasons) we are currently on £2898.80. This is more than the Seatgate season

Considering the difference between the two seasons, this year is fantastic

The highest raised was when we won the Evostik - £3309

If each of our 447 followers sent through a pledge for each of the last two matches, this could be the schemes most successful season.

A pound a goal by the team?

A fiver a goal by a player?

A tenner a clean sheet?

£1 a point?

50p a km run by a player?

£20 if the players all do a somersault before kick off?

£10 just, you know, because?

You can, of course, choose any amount you can afford

Tweet or DM your pledge to us.

Payment can be made via PayPal to darlogoals@gmail.com, or Bank Transfer (details on request)

All money raised by the scheme will be passed to the club in May.

To those that have had regular/ad-hoc pledges through the season - thank you - I will be sending amounts owed by DM once everything is finished and the spreadsheet is finalised.

The scheme will be continuing into season 19/20.

Hope we can count on your fantastic support again.

If one thing has been learned this season, regardless of performance, fans still support the club - shown by over £3300 of unfulfilled pledges

Thanks
Ian

It looks like we will reach £3000 for this season (if everyone pays)

Dm's on Twitter have been sent to all, though couldn't find Michael Cooper. If you are on here or know him, can you get in touch.

Tweeted from @Darlogoals: We still have some payments to be sent through but have just transferred £2713 to the club for this season's DarloGoals scheme.

Thank you everyone for your continued support, we know there are many calls on funds from 'normal life' as well as from the club

Ian
