Nuneaton....

Post by LoidLucan » Thu Mar 21, 2019 10:28 am

Cast adrift at the bottom of the league, lost their last 7 league games, goal difference of -48, only about 14 players on their books, in financial turmoil and only won 3 games all season (all right one of them was against us)....

What can possibly go wrong?

I see it all before me.... they've had a player sent off early on but it's 0-0, the game is in the second minute of injury-time and then they get a dramatic breakaway (their only attack of the game)....

midweek games are low enough but after a defeat against these it would be on the cards ... unless the fans turn out in force to protest :(

Remind me of the result when we played them at home this season, when they were bottom of the league then and we couldn't possibly lose? On second thoughts, DON'T.

In some ways it would be better playing Stockport away; we would probably raise our game and they might have promotion paralysis. Nuneaton have nothing to lose as they're going bust, again, and they could go for their only(?) double of the season. This is the big one in my view because if we don't come away with three points Tommy will look even more like Theresa and it will be everyone else's fault. The Wright factor might tell with Nuneaton as well. Let's hope that this new fella makes a difference TW can always find them he just needs to stay out of their way at half-time. A scruffy 1-0 win would do for me.

Tommy won't be going anywhere, if he does. It'll be the summer. Not at the end of March when we are slab bang in a run of important fixtures,

I'm terrified for this one. Really feels like a must win. Seven point gap feels okay, four would most definitely not.

Our defence is crap in recent games so we should just go for it.

Overload the wings with the wing backs and get the ball int he middle ... centre midfielder late runs into the box are missing so hopefully we get that sorted in this game.

Hope to see our new signings in action, think they will start on the bench.

seriously tomorrow is a massive game. Win and I think we will have enough points on the board to stay up (assuming we pick up several results until the end of the season). Lose or draw and I think we will be right in it, not only from a points point of view but from a confidence point of view.

No one cares about any fans away attendance. Does nothing for the club. No idea why some fans claim the moral high ground as they have attended x amount of away games
