That should help put to be fears of relegation that some on here express. It drops FCUM into the clarts though. See how many points deduction they face/ get.
Seems like its different to the situation Darlington had a few years back.

I'll believe it when I see it, they'll wriggle out of it somehow. But if they do lose some points, it won't do us any harm.

Sounds like the same charge as us (when we were in the Evo Prem) for international clearance.
Don't know the full circs but if they get away with no point deduction then that's fine, as that was the result for ours also.

Apart from the fact that 3 teams go down and Ashton Utd are 3rd bottom and only 6 points behind with a game in hand whereas FC Utd are 8 behind with no games in hand.

I don't think FCUM can claim like Darlington that they couldn't have known.
I think (but may be wrong) FCUM signed player who had last played overseas whereas Darlington signed player from another English club so would not have any reason to know there was an issue
FCUM already admitted offence to FA and have been thrown out of Manchester FA Cup
