Aren't they only selling to season ticket holders? I would expect them to stick on general sale either tomorrow or Monday.

I’m not sure they’re allowed to or have I dreamt that!AndyPark wrote:Aren't they only selling to season ticket holders? I would expect them to stick on general sale either tomorrow or Monday.

Only thing I could find which states only sales to ST holders.
Pity. I love a party with a happy atmosphere.Darlo_Pete wrote:Very disappointing to hear the poolie support will be so low. I suspect that a lack of poolie fans will detract from the atmosphere.
Yes - the same way that if we drew a big side in the FA cup away (ha) we'd take home a far greater % of gate receipts than the % of tickets we would sellGow9900 wrote: As for the gate receipts, other cup games show a 50/50 split, they are likely to have 150 there, we will probably have 1200/1300, they will have less than or about 10% of the gate yet will likely get 50% of the gate money.
To be fair I am sure this is usually 'after costs'.al_quaker wrote:Yes - the same way that if we drew a big side in the FA cup away (ha) we'd take home a far greater % of gate receipts than the % of tickets we would sellGow9900 wrote: As for the gate receipts, other cup games show a 50/50 split, they are likely to have 150 there, we will probably have 1200/1300, they will have less than or about 10% of the gate yet will likely get 50% of the gate money.
Where gate receipts are shared it is after expenses... Also clubs onlyare liable for costs of policing on their land... Policing in public places comes from public purselo36789 wrote:To be fair I am sure this is usually 'after costs'.al_quaker wrote:Yes - the same way that if we drew a big side in the FA cup away (ha) we'd take home a far greater % of gate receipts than the % of tickets we would sellGow9900 wrote: As for the gate receipts, other cup games show a 50/50 split, they are likely to have 150 there, we will probably have 1200/1300, they will have less than or about 10% of the gate yet will likely get 50% of the gate money.
Whilst I expect police presence to be stood down, at least from the levels first planned who knows if this will be a profit or loss event.

Doesn't seem right , we sell say 1300 they sell 150 and we then share what's left after costsAndyPark wrote:Yes, we share the gate receipts from what I was told.
We wouldn't be complaining about the financial set up if we ever played a big cup match awaypoppyfield wrote:Doesn't seem right , we sell say 1300 they sell 150 and we then share what's left after costsAndyPark wrote:Yes, we share the gate receipts from what I was told.
True, perhaps there chairman will feel he has to make amends somehow and say,al_quaker wrote:We wouldn't be complaining about the financial set up if we ever played a big cup match awaypoppyfield wrote:Doesn't seem right , we sell say 1300 they sell 150 and we then share what's left after costsAndyPark wrote:Yes, we share the gate receipts from what I was told.
The figures quoted were pre-weekend, so I was just wondering if there had been an update since then.poppyfield wrote:Might of been answered before in the thread, do we share all the ticket sales with Hartlepool after costs police etc. ?
I wonder if he is going to show his face?!poppyfield wrote: True, perhaps there chairman will feel he has to make amends somehow and say,

Lots of info on website about ticketing, and police advice about the game Tuesday, but nothing about how strong a team we are going to put out. I mean it is not Champions League is it, but if we have sold over 1,000 tickets as the club says, would be a good idea for TW to tell us how seriously we are taking this and maybe hint at team selection? I have a ticket. Maybe will be something on website tomorrow or in the Echo to generate some passion tomorrow night.OnTheTerraces wrote:I see Williams Kokolo is playing up front for Sunderland u23 tonight, won’t be playing tomorrow then.
People have already bought tickets as you point out, for a reserve game. Hardly going to affect the attendance is itbga wrote:Lots of info on website about ticketing, and police advice about the game Tuesday, but nothing about how strong a team we are going to put out.
