According to Stoddart Collins is crocked and needs an operation to sort out his injuries.

It was just interesting he said that he had a fully fit squad, we all think I’m sure that Dom won’t play for us again, which is probably why TW said he had a fully fit squad.

The lad is a crock, been injured since day one. If the he can’t be relied upon then what is the point? I can’t believe that whist he spent months out with a hamstring injury he didn’t get the toe injury he’s been carrying since he signed sorted.

Wheatley with a hernia (even repaired) is NOT fit. Verging on negligence to allow players returning from injury to be put at risk by playing them whilst not 100%

I had a hernia. I'm not a pro footballer but do enough sport and can tell you that you'll never be able to give 100% with a hernia. You always psychologically protect it, and if you overuse it then it causes nausea which means that your energy goes anyway. It's not a good situation.

Different hernias are possible though, unless you had the same type and severity as Wheatley it's not worth comparing.

Plenty of footballers have had hernias and played on for a period, personally no idea if that's possible for Wheatley, I guess time will tell.

With all these issues relating to injuries, players not playing, loss of form and money it seems that a fans forum could be an idea to 'clear the air' so to speak.

They always go well.................

Link it to the race night? Agreed, need a forum to clear some of the speculation.
