At least he's used to the traveling. It probably takes about the same to Gibraltar by plane as it does by car to Darlington.

2 wins in 2 days (ok Reece unavailable for 2nd game) but Gib now only 3pts behind D4 group leaders Macedonia & hope for promotion

Does this suggest that if you leave Styche out of the side you might get back to back wins??

I'd be amazed if Styche isn't in the starting line up.

Think he may be on the bench and we start with Ainge and Harvey.Thought Nicholson looked good against FCUM and could get the nod over Henshall.I fancy us for a win on Saturday as we should have a good bench as back up especially with Reece back.

Oh Christ. Not good news at all. Sounds like he’s off.

I hope at least this isn’t just a sideways move for him.

Who knows. Maybe he's sick of travelling. Maybe he doesn't like the flak he's getting. Maybe he's going abroad.

I honestly don't think this is an insurmountable loss though.

No. We’re a little unbalanced, although OJ were say Reece is our best striker, I’m relaxed with Ainge and Saunders. We need to invest the money in midfield.

Just had a look at the Alfreton Town website and there is no mention of the move. Obviously not excited at the prospect as we are of losing Styche. Any news of the money involved?

The talk in the bar before the game was that it was due to financial issues, perhaps Alferton offered him more.

Thanks Pete. Styche must have been on top whack and if Alfreton just matched our wage, without all the expense of travelling & time spent on the road, Reece probably better off. As someone previously mentioned, it removes one headache for TW in Ainge / Styche /Harvey. Great to see Harvey making the starting XI , not to mention his off the pitch contributions to the club

But Styche has said that he didn't want to leave and he implied that the reason he was going was due to financial issues, I presume at the club and that we perhaps wanted him off our payroll.

Financially both Styche & the club must be better off, however I think his move has made the squad weaker. It was fun while it lasted, best of luck to him in his future career.
