Blimey we certainly get rough draws, think we'll struggle to make it through to the next round.

Dunno about us always getting tough draws. Didn't we get Marine at home last year, only just scrambled a draw and then blew it in the replay?

Blimey talk about giving up before a ball is kicked, lets see who TW brings in this week and how we get on against Tamworth this weekend

To be played on Friday 24th

Hopefully we charge £10 (maximum)

Tough game, but at least it's at home.

Should do buy a ticket for this game and the next home league game for £20 as a bundle and obviously kids and concessions cheaper, Surely this can be a good deal!!!

Correct, but at that time we were managed by Martin "money" Gray who only seemed interested in himself and promotions - he was blatantly never interested in the cups, even though he knew that good cup runs could potentially bring in additional revenue.

Now we're managed by someone who seems to have some sort of grasp of our current situation as a club and knows the importance of a good cup run. Let's just hope that Tommy can turn out to be a good manager for us.

Maine last year though FFS - we should have walked through that one. Said it all about Gray and cups.

Marine was awful, poured down and our defending was pants!

Apparently so.

However I think a Friday night game isn't the worst thing (I know it won't work for some) and could be something a bit different.

Club looking to advise on match admission prices, so hopefully the two clubs can agree something that reduces the cost for this game.

I think if we price it right then the Friday night might actually be a worthwhile experiment in any case.

The previous Friday night games have been pretty well attended haven't they? Hopefully with a decent price we can get a reasonable crowd

We could get a result here, Harrogate may feel they have bigger fish to fry.

A Friday night game is an experiment worth trying.

Agreed, considering Boro and Newcastle are at home on the Saturday, iirc

I know Fridays may not be good to some people but it could certainly attract fans who are involved in local football on Saturdays?

Hopefully a few others will follow you're generous gesture. I still intend going even though I'll miss the first half hour or so.

Would give a boost if so especially when gate will be shared & no VAT to pay on donations. If I could I would be there so hopefully next round.

The problem with that is, when do we ever win a cup game?

Last FA cup/trophy win was Halloween 2015, 3-2 at home to Mossley.

An incredibly laboured performance and the first/last time we saw Jakub Hymr. Almost as elusive as Mendes.
