Looks like either a 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1 to me.

Team suggests that Thompson playing up front again....! Haven't seen him have one decent game there in any season, but woeful up front this one! Why keep signing players if they are not better than we have already! Mendes should be starting surely or why sign him? Mind you, hope I,m wrong and he gets a hat trick! Mendes not even in squad, just don't get it.

Must be a reason for not including Mendes so let's wait and see but pleased we have gone for Portas over Syers...wonder if he does not figure in MGs plans.Browney cannot be far off coming back in and with another new signing expected next week we are looking stronger.3 points today would see us jump to 6th.

Apparently Mendes has been training with the club for 4 weeks and he's having a knock around on the pitch before today's game, even though he'd not in today's squad. Browney is also warning up on the pitch, which has to be good news.

Beck misses far too many headers considering this is supposed to be his strength.

Quite often tall strikers aren't the best of headers, perhaps this is the same with Beck.

Thomo misses a one on one with the keeper, blasts it over.

Then Curzon miss a sitter at the other end, this looks like a 0-0 all the way.

We are not clinical enough up front, missing far too many chances.

Ferguson misses a great chance and skies it over the bar.

We need to get shot of Beck, Cartman and Tommo and bring in a forward line that can find the net. This must be the most powder puff set of forwards in the league.

Agreed, for gods sake Gray drop Beck, missed yet another sitter and Thommo is useless up front. They have had enough opportunities, that should be it.Over to you Gray, 1 point against Boston and Curzon pathetic.

About time we had a reality check, it's been too plain sailing up until this year. Problem is that we are so use to success that when a run of results/off field issues hit, we have forgotten how to handle it and 'generation instant' don't allow for patience!
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Who's mad idea was it to rearrange a match we did not have to play, when we had a crop of injuries. Those lads could have had an extra week to get back to full fitness & not compromise themselves by playing when they really shouldn't.

Can't see us making the play-offs unless our form changes very quickly.
