Chorley v Darlington

Important game and chance to bounce straight back after Saturday reverse. Chorley picked up recently after sluggish start, so expect a tough task.

Will be interesting to see the line up.

Regardless I would settle for a draw.

Some other tasty games, notably Spennymoor v York. Will be another good measure

Tezza, I am of the opinion we need to win this one to kick start our winning mentality.
Which we seem to have lost recently ailbet marginally but a win I think a win tonight.

If we play as we did in the first half on Saturday and take our chances we could be more than hopeful of a positive outcome.

If we play like we did for the first 35 minutes of Saturday second half, when we looked like 11 men who had just met up, then I would fear the worst.

Hoping that Portas and Turnbull get the call for midfield. With Thompson out wider, if selected.

If the weather in Chorley has been anything like that we have had in Stockport overnight / today then the pitch is likely to be heavy. We had an awful lot of rain overnight / this morning and heavy showers today

From Northern Echo article sounds like Portas will be starting.

Any guesses on a lineup? Marrs is apparently a 50:50

For me, team tonight will be:
Bartlett
Marrs/Vaulks Collins Burgess Ferguson
Thompson Portas Turnbull Gillies
Caton
Beck
Bench: Wilciynzki, Vaulks/Whealtey, Scott, Syers, Saunders

I'd go with:

Bartlett

Marrs
Burgess
Brown
Scott

Gillies
Syers
Turnbull
Ferguson

Caton
Beck

Assuming Marrs is fit of course.

Alternatively if drop Caton out for Portas and play Syers off Beck.

Either of those two options would be ideal.

According to the Echo Brown is definitely out still suffering from concussion, Marrs and Galbraith are 50 50.

Wonder if Scott will go LB to allow Ferguson to move up to MF

Let's hope so. Waste of one of our main attacking threats if not.

Totally forgot Collins from my team!!!

Do what you want. Am I allowed to call you out on it if it's kneejerk wailing?

Do as you want, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

But this is absolutely pathetic, we should be 3/4-0 down and it's not even half-time yet.

Not allowed to complain, knee-jerk reaction though.

Pathetic this. Feel sorry for the people that made the effort to go.
