There's a thing called google that allows you to search for more or less anything. Give that a go.HarrytheQuaker wrote:It's invisible then...Where is it??????

"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883
Re: If you fancy a laugh .....
as someone on the Tin Shed Facebook group said...have they merged with Mansfield?
Re: If you fancy a laugh .....
It does seem odd that it references a stag, rather than something more aligned with 'Artlepools history.
A boot over a kitten, or a monkey on a noose, would surely be a more fitting image?

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

The badges look like something you'd find on a National Trust hiking trail.

I now understand the Hart in Hartlepool. The explanation by the spokesman is hilarious!

Or a crossbow arrow through a swan, or a hamster in a microwave, or a kid with his special uncle, or a crack pipe.Spyman wrote:It does seem odd that it references a stag, rather than something more aligned with 'Artlepools history.

On a blue and white background of course.

The badge is the least of their worries... their new away kit is grey with lime green trim... then that gold badge on it... it looks like my bedroom floor after a night on the spirits

Re: If you fancy a laugh .....
Yes if they're not careful they'll be doing a York City and getting relegated again. I think they'll find the Conference tough and I wouldn't be surprised if come the end of the season they're nearer the bottom than the top.

Yeh you're right Pete, if they're not careful with the design of the club badge they might get relegated.Darlo_Pete wrote:Yes if they're not careful they'll be doing a York City and getting relegated again. Hopefully we won't need to rely just on your forecasts

It's like their old badge. Looks ok to me. Better than George's revamp of ours

Re: If you fancy a laugh .....
Our revamped badge was truely awful! I'm sure it was designed by a fan as part of a competition (done on the cheap) the template was the shield from GR's company logo.
FORZA DARLO
Re: If you fancy a laugh .....
I actually didn't mind the revamped DFC logo (not a patch on our current one though) however I think the disdain towards it stems from all the s*** that happened during the GR era. Once he left it was inevitable we would revert back to the original, and rightly so.Quakers1883 wrote:Our revamped badge was truely awful! Re: If you fancy a laugh .....
It's bad, although I think does look better on the backdrop of their blue shirts.
At least it has the team name in it, which is one of my problems with ours. It needs Darlington FC on it somewhere.
