Season 17/18 - To start on Sat 5th August

Thought we could look ahead but ignore the ownership model situation on this thread.

As above.

National League normally follows EFL and that starts on Sat 5th August where the Premier League will start Sat 12th August.

We have one friendly announced yet and I presume it's down to the Ferguson deal.

Sat 8th July - Shildon v Darlo
Wed 19th July - Northallerton Town v Darlo 11 (Unsure if first team)

Should have Bishop Auckland away as when we left we said we would play a pre-season friendly back at HP.

EFL will release fixtures on 21st June, we will fall in line after that and likely to be Wed 5th July when fixtures are released.

News for next season is that Gloucester City will no longer be playing at Cheltenham's Whaddon Road and have moved to Evesham United, slightly shorter journey
