Good chance for him to rebuild confidence and get regular games.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

We have 2 very good jeepers, as good as you will get in this league, so if Ed is happy to fight it out for the jersey then Pete will be gone. A very good shot stopper with great reflexes but positioning and dealing with crosses let him down and you don't get away with that in this league.

quakersam your correct, unfortunately for Jameson his positioning, distribution and dealing with crosses was pretty standard to be polite but those are three major and key parts of being a keeper.
Best of luck to the lad in the future.

Good luck to Pete, at least he's going to a club that is on the up like ourselves.

On the basis of ten or less games, and no games for us. Let's not get carried away. Good luck to Peter. He's played a big part in our rise up the leagues, and if he has played his last game for us, i'll thank him for that. Cant help but feel he's been slightly hard done by. Let's hope Ed doesn't have a wobble.

Not getting carried away at all, Ed seems pretty safe to me and obviously MG and his staff must pretty well think the same to send Pete out on loan.

Yes, good luck Peter - however I don't feel he's been hard done by.

Gray has kept faith in him for a long time - unfortunately the last time he hit a bad spell (and Gray stuck with him) he seemed to end up getting worse, not better!

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back at some point.

Hope this move helps him get back into the game and be a learning experience for him. Still young enough to improve his game and Shields have some experienced players who could bring him on, in which case I would be happy to have him back in the side again, in the future

Agreed, he's looked safe. As good as any in the league was the carried away bit.

See Pete played for South Shields yesterday and they won 1-2 at Ryhope CW, he was beaten by a 30 yard shot.

Good luck to Pete at South Shields!

Jameson saved points for Darlo with his shot stopping on lots of occasions, which far outnumber points lost to his show-boating, discipline & positioning blunders.

He is young enough to improve his game and may benefit more readily from new coaches and new teammates.

Our fans have a tendency to either love or hate our goalies, but often it is other defenders that should take the blame / credit for the number of goals conceded.

Jameson was an excellent servant for us, but it is definitely in the interests of both parties for him to depart.

I hope he regains his confidence and is able to continue his career at the highest possible level.
