Re: Clean sheets
Have we stumbled upon something due to circumstances?

Re: Clean sheets
Galbraith was outstanding today, 3/4 really big headers in the dying moments of the match.
Having stood at our defensive end both halves, Hunter got a way with a few today with some poor marking.
Burgess comes back in for me next game.

Agreed I think his distribution from defence today were particularly poorDarlofan97 wrote:Galbraith was outstanding today, 3/4 really big headers in the dying moments of the match.

I think that there are a few that struggle with the pitch.HarrytheQuaker wrote:Agreed I think his distribution from defence today were particularly poorDarlofan97 wrote:Galbraith was outstanding today, 3/4 really big headers in the dying moments of the match.

Re: Clean sheets
Disagree with some of these posts, Chris Hunter had an excellent game alongside Tez, Mares and Ferguson were also very solid, probably our best defensive display of the season.

Re: Clean sheets
Hunters distribution has always been dodgy. His defending in general though is excellent.HarrytheQuaker wrote:Agreed I think his distribution from defence today were particularly poorDarlofan97 wrote:Galbraith was outstanding today, 3/4 really big headers in the dying moments of the match.

Re: Clean sheets
I'm not saying he's not a good defender but he did get turned very very easy twice today and you have to admit the distribution weren't great there were at least 3 times he could of found a team mate but he skied the ball out for a corner putting the defence under unnecessary pressure and a couple of other occasions he attempted an easy pass from defence but put the ball out for there goal kick he were constantly putting his hand up to teammates apologising... Everyone has off days would say he were excellent against a team who bearly threatenedQUAKERMAN2 wrote:Disagree with some of these posts, Chris Hunter had an excellent game alongside Tez, Mares and Ferguson were also very solid, probably our best defensive display of the season.

Re: Clean sheets
Standing behind the goal today, I noticed how vocal our Goalkeeper was, always guiding and instructing the lads in front of him. Didn't have a lot to do barring the one save but he looks assured and has so far, been an excellent signing.
Re: Clean sheets
Hunter played an integral part in restricting one of the best away sides in the division to virtually nothing in front of goal. Nuff said.

Re: Clean sheets
Galbraith was immense and won everything in the air. To be honest Brackley were disappointing apart from their left winger who had a few good runs. Thought Maars looked good on his return.

Re: Clean sheets
I dont like Darlo hoofing the ball forward from the back line, but sometimes the defenders dont have time to see a team mate in space.
I'd rather defenders clear their lines than trying an iffy longish pass, when under pressure.
More movement into the spaces from the attacking players will help us keep possession with clearances and set up more attacks.
