RIP Russ

Post by Darlo_Pete » Wed Mar 08, 2017 1:40 pm

Some bad news big Russ has sadly passed away. I've known Russ for a good few years and become great friends with him. A true Darlo fan, sadly from Wales but I won't hold that against him. The article with a picture of Russ is on the link below. RIP Russ you'll be sadly missed and condolences to his family, especially his son who I met on the odd occasion.

:(

Very, very sad to hear this - Russ was a very gregarious and friendly person. I liked him a lot.

I think he used to post as Slappy's Foreskin (although I thought he'd changed to THE PRINCE OF WALES).

Sorry to hear that, Russ was always a good laugh and one of those I'd look out for when I used to travel up regularly for home games.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

This is terrible news.

He was such a nice, gentle, friendly person. I last chatted with him during and after the Halifax away game - and sometimes used to bump into him in and around Northallerton.

Russ will be missed by many.

Good to hear that there will be a minutes applause on Saturday for 3 fans who have sadly passed away recently, I presume Russell will be one of these.
