Harrogate Town
Many planning on going to the game tomorrow, not seen an awful lot mentioned on here or Twitter/Facebook.
First home game in nearly a month, localish game on the back of 2 decent away games.
Can we look forward to expecting a crowd of around 2000? Including possibly 100/200 Harrogate fans..
It's also been labelled as a 'bring a friend day' - So lets try and bring 1 person extra and generate a decent atmosphere to push us on for another vital 3 points.
Up the Darlo.

If the weather is ok, then 'd expect us to get just over 2000.

No arguments on red card. Stupid thing to do. Ref had no choice. Seem to be controlling the game at the mo. But I'm concerned by their pace as we tire.

67' | Ball drops to Syers right on the edge of the box, shaped to place it far corner but takes a bobble and his effort goes well over.

Yea agree just plain stupid by Scott, we fought as best we could but that cost us big time.dickdarlington wrote:No arguments on red card. Stupid thing to do. Ref had no choice. Seem to be controlling the game at the mo. But I'm concerned by their pace as we tire.

Re: Harrogate Town
Thought Darlington were the best side should have won and I certainly think that had Darlington had 11 players on the field they would have beaten harrogate ,the officials were very poor standard today.sending off of Scott I believed was harsh, their lad made a meal of the challenge ,yellow card at most, Jeff definitely not up to the job.great display by 10man Darlington.

We were stood near by and if it wasn't a penalty then it should have been a corner. The Golden Hairclip wrote:Any views on this? Should it have been given?The_Ozzman_Cometh wrote:90' | Syers knocks it around the keeper, goes down but no penalty given! Looked certain.

Mind you the ref didn't have a clue about corners all game. Inept at best.

Re: Harrogate Town
Several of the starting line up a clearly not good enough. Scott is way out of his depth and has been for this season and last. Brown and Burgess are struggling for pace. Saying that this pitch is not conjusive to flowing football. Training on a flat 3G pitch and playing on an unpredictable surface must be frustrating to the players.

Re: Harrogate Town
Match ruined by abysmal officials. Obviously Darlo fans value their friends too much to inflict the current offering at Blackwell meadows. Can't see us making the playoffs without better officials and some clean sheets.
Also totally agree with last posting, Scott is way out of his league and has proved to be a liability this season. Time for a replacement.

Re: Harrogate Town
Second half we were better when we played with a bit of width first half all the players were in about a third of the pitch when either team were taking goal kicks.

Re: Harrogate Town
BM isn't becoming much of a fortress for us, having lost 3 and won two of our games there, scoring nine and conceding 10 along the way. All those games were against teams below us in the league at the time. If we are honest, we don't look a play-off side at the mo. Nevertheless a top ten finish would be decent enough for our first season in this league.
