Tickets so far
The ticket I got this morning was 0953 so hopefully assuming that Halifax got 001-0600 then so far we have sold 353 tickets out of the 1600. It wasn't too busy at the DFCSG desk but they've picked up quite a few extra members over the last couple of days. There should be a good number of tickets going on general sale tomorrow night unless there is a mad dash for supporters group sign ups!

Re: Tickets so far
Bit disappointing only 353 being sold so far, but I imagine a load more will be sold on general sale from tomorrow.
My ticket was something like 0862.

Does Quaker Retail take card? I've not had to go for a while and I know it used to be a problem...

Re: Tickets so far
Well there was approx 800 members of the supporters group last month I believe. I'd imagine a lot of them will already be season ticket holders / 500 club members and therefore won't need a match ticket so 353 isn't bad in reality.

Re: Tickets so far
Went to the shop on Sunday and they said that there had been plenty buying tickets.
Re: Tickets so far
I'm a season ticket holder can I get a extra ticket for a family member and would the family member still have to pay for a ticket.
Re: Tickets so far
What time date and location are the tickets going on general sale, also can you purchase more than one.?

QR does for merchandise but tickets are cash only and are being sold on the opposite side to QR at the Dolphin

From 6pm tomorrow night at the Dolphin Centre, currently seeking clarification on max number per persontherifles wrote:What time date and location are the tickets going on general sale, also can you purchase more than one.?

Why should the family member get a free ticket?
Re: Tickets so far
It'll sell out.
Only being able to buy one per person in the queue is a bit of a pain on general sale though. I'm back in town for Christmas and offered to go down and get mine and some friends, until I saw it was one per person. So i can get mine, but they'll all have to go around work hours

Yes, if you're a member of the DFCSG then you can buy another ticket if you want to take someone with you.Darlo1235 wrote:I'm a season ticket holder can I get a extra ticket for a family member and would the family member still have to pay for a ticket.
Tickets go on general sale at 6pm on Tuesday.

Re: Tickets so far
I have ticket number 1050 - which I received this evening. Based on Halifax receiving 0-600 then we have sold around 450 to members.
As Robbie has pointed out, given that the majority of DFCSG members will most probably already be ST Holders, then 450 is a pretty good show given that they are only on sale to DFCSG members - or people signing up on the day.

Re: Tickets so far
Halifax have sold 250 tickets so far during the season ticket-holders only period and the other 350 go on general sale over the next couple of days.
Re: Tickets so far
Once the tickets go on general sale, one ticket per person seems a little unnecessary? Season ticket holders, 500 club members and DFCSG members have been given their priorities (and rightly so) but asking every other person who wants a ticket to go in person to the dolphin Centre seems a bit OTT to me. I wouldn't want us to end up with unsold tickets..divas wrote:From 6pm tomorrow night at the Dolphin Centre, currently seeking clarification on max number per persontherifles wrote:What time date and location are the tickets going on general sale, also can you purchase more than one.?

Agreed, many fans go with someone else and people will want to pick up an extra ticket or tickets for others.m62exile wrote:Once the tickets go on general sale, one ticket per person seems a little unnecessary? Re: Tickets so far
The official line from the football club is 1 ticket per person in attendance when buying

Needs opening up so people can get more than one ticket, doesn't make much sense to limit it to one.

Agreed - needs to change ASAP. Limiting to 4 or 5 makes more sense.super_les_mcjannet wrote:Needs opening up so people can get more than one ticket, doesn't make much sense to limit it to one.
Can't understand the rationale behind the decision.

Re: Tickets so far
Personally I'd say 2 per person to give plenty of people a chance to get down to buy a ticket. I remember feeling like some people were taking the piss a little for the playoff final v Bamber Bridge tickets and they all went very quickly.Darlofan97 wrote:Agreed - needs to change ASAP. One per person feels far too restrictive to me. Impractical to expect everyone to be able to buy a ticket in person, lots of wasted time and could cause people to get annoyed with volunteers selling the tickets.

Yeah 2 per person is a good compromise in my opinion

Re: Tickets so far
I totally agree with what you're saying. Whether it be 2,3,4 or 5 tickets available per person then it makes it a lot easier than the current set-up. I was more thinking of groups that would like to attend, it is hardly's practical for them to all go through to Darlington.Robbie Painter wrote:Personally I'd say 2 per person to give plenty of people a chance to get down to buy a ticket. Our 'hardcore' fan base that have followed us in Bishop Auckland *should* now be covered as they are more than likely to be one of either season ticket holders, 500 club members or DFCSG members.
Given that they are now on general sale then one ticket per person is far too restrictive - as you have rightly pointed out - given the above.

Re: Tickets so far
Been to every game at Bishop, except for holidays and I aint in any of the groups mentioned. However, I do believe one ticket per person will cause more grief than enough. Those who choose to cough up season ticket money, dfcsg, 500 member have had time to get their ticket now it should be opened up to anyone who wants one buy however many you want. Better to have a sell out.

Re: Tickets so far
I'm an exiled supporter but a member of DFCSG. I would love to support the Club by buying a ticket but knowing that there is no way I can get to the game - from Dorset - I don't want to stop someone else who can go. However I would love to have a ticket just as a souvenir of our returning to town. Is there anything the Club can do in this situation?

Re: Tickets so far
Been told the queue to get tickets tonight was nearly out the door
Re: Tickets so far
Maybe some kind soul would give you their spare afterwards. I can't see the club being able to do anything, certainly before the game, but there's no harm in asking.Cockerton48 wrote:I'm an exiled supporter but a member of DFCSG.
