Re: Buy the Dugouts
10 out of 24 of the dugout seat sponsorship gone already, only 14 left!
Re: Buy the Dugouts
"In addition all donations made into the DFCSG Ground Development buckets at forthcoming home games will be used to fund the dugouts."
Does this mean the cost is more than £8000!? Surely these dugouts have underseat heating and TV's linked to Kev's camera for instant replays???
If the cost is not more than £8000 then I wouldn't have stated that, our fans love a target and it'll be hit with ease I think.

No, it means that donations at forthcoming home games will be used to fund the dugouts.TDS wrote:"In addition all donations made into the DFCSG Ground Development buckets at forthcoming home games will be used to fund the dugouts."

Re: Buy the Dugouts
But why?
The £8,000 will surely be reached not including the bucket collections, so I understand the point being made.

Re: Buy the Dugouts
I was surprised how much they go for in all honesty but a cursory glance would appear they seem to cost a decent whack.TDS wrote:Does this mean the cost is more than £8000!? Surely these dugouts have underseat heating and TV's linked to Kev's camera for instant replays???

No the cost isn't more than £8,000
The bucket collections will be added to the totaliser after every game meaning we don't need as many £30 donations

I suppose it gives a chance for everyone to say they chipped in and helped to pay for them. Not everyone has £30 to spare!

Re: Buy the Dugouts
I would much rather see the bucket collections held back until the 50 days is up, the reason is it will give opportunity for more fans to buy 'their brick'divas wrote:No the cost isn't more than £8,000

.
My quick calculation shows the £100 'bricks' have just about gone (4 left),which leaves £5600 to raise of which we have already got £1200 so that leaves £4400 to get, the site has only just opened and its steaming along, so hold the money from the buckets back, its only 146 more fans to go for the £30 'brick' can we get that?
Darlo fans show time and time again how much they support and want to be a part of the club.
There will always be other bits of kit the buckets could be used for, a roller soaker springs to mind.
Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. Re: Buy the Dugouts
I wonder how much this has been marketed to rugby club members? In all the excitement of going home it's easy to forget they will be playing there too and what a great way to invest in a long lasting piece of the ground as well as promoting co-operation and long lasting relationships between the club's.

Good shout, I'll discuss using bucket funds only if we're shortpoppyfield wrote:I would much rather see the bucket collections held back until the 50 days is up, the reason is it will give opportunity for more fans to buy 'their brick'divas wrote:No the cost isn't more than £8,000
