New signing

As mentioned on the Nowakowski thread, I understand we've signed Tom Davie, a winger from Bradford PA. Not sure if it is part of the Nowakowski deal but he's 22, ex-Hull academy and apparently had a decent season at Frickley last year. Should provide some good competition and cover.

Frickley fans were impressed with him last year, although breaking into our team on the wing isn't easy.

I'd have thought we'd have been in the market for a striker, rather than another winger. Does he play on the left or right wing? Anyway welcome to the club Tom.

I believe his most natural position is left-wing but he did fill in at full back, centre-mid and up front for Frickley last year so sounds like he could be a bit of a utility player.

Thanks for that. A good few of our players can fill in at various positions, so his adaptability will benefit the club. Did he play against us when we played at their place?

Signed on a one-month loan deal according to Bradford Park Avenue.

Seems like he can play either left back or left wing. Former Hull, Scarborough, Gainsborough, North Ferriby & Frickley.

Scored against us for Frickley twice, one in the league and one in the Doodson.

If the plan is to sign anyone who has scored against us, we may have to extend the squad ;) What we really need is to stop people scoring against us!

He came on for a few minutes at Brackley and played behind the front 2. Not sure if he got a touch, but was prowling around the 18 yard line with intent when we attacked.
