Shirt Sales approx 1k

Yep, quite an incredible number.

Just shows what can be done with a decent couple of shirts, getting them in as early as possible & selling at a reasonable price.

Probably brings in approx. 32k revenue just in shirt sales, obviously the profit will only be about a 3rd of that but cracking sales and great when you see people wandering round the town in them.

This season’s Darlington shirts, all sizes both home and away complete with the Virgin Trains logo, have been very popular with Darlington fans.

Lynn, manager of QR, says that there is a steady stream of purchasers on line and in person in the Dolphin Centre, with many people buying more than one.

The number of sales is thought to be a record for the club, and could climb even higher considering that we are now approaching Christmas!

Many thanks to everyone who has bought shirts so far.

What about a long-sleeved version as winter is approaching? ;)

Keeper shirts usually available. It is traditional to wear a jacket and scarf when it's really cold and these are also club shop wares.

I agree totally. The DFC volunteers really got their acts together this season, so well done to all.

With Darlo most likely in promotion contention approaching Christmas and a return to town I hope that new supplies of shirts will keep up with demand.

Returning & new supporters may not have any Darlo merchandise from recent years, so may be a more than willing market for DFC products (e.g. Back to Darlo tee shirts).

If stocks of shirts run out there should be a very simple pay, book & collect system in place at the shop.

A large stocking of Black and White scarves and jackets should also be lucrative for coming months.
