Back to Darlo - Bucket collections

Post by Darlo Since 68 » Thu Aug 25, 2016 6:55 pm

Hi everyone.
I have been on holiday and out of the country for a few weeks, so I havent had chance to update you all.

I am back now so here is your first update of the season.

We have had buckets out at the Newcastle and Sunderland friendlies and at the Boston and Chorley league games.

The total so far is just over £650.

A big thank you to all who contribute. All your loose change certainly adds up.

This money helps towards the ongoing development of Blackwell Meadows. As you all know, this is an ongoing process and once again, I thank you all for your contributions.

And we thank you even more as without you guys all this money would not keep getting collected. Well done and keep it up!

Well done guys. Done my DFC bucket stints in the past. All the small change adds up with other fan based schemes to give Darlo a bit more power to the elbow.

With Darlo in contention in the league, potential cup runs and playing back in town we can expect a lot more commercial income from local firm sponsorships and advertising.

Every penny counts and will be used, rather than disappearing off to an account in a tax haven.
