Great start to the season and attendances

Post by super_les_mcjannet » Wed Aug 24, 2016 9:53 pm

Fantastic start and the attendances have both beaten my expectations, 1,543 tonight was well above what I expected.

Opening home game of the season against Frickley last season on a Tue night we had 908. Hope we can get most back again on Sat that were there tonight.

Some harder games ahead but we look a tough team to beat at the moment and I would say we look like we haven't got into any full flow as yet.

Crowd tonight was a good 500 more than we have been getting before for midweek games. I'd expect another 200 to 300 extra on Saturday.

Gone for a crowd just short of 1700 in the prediction league... and a high scoring game.

Alfreton have goals in them this season, but let a lot in. They remind me of Droylsden.
