Good draws for the would be great lads. It would be great if we can go a little way in this competition and draw a bigger club from the Football League.

My opinion

Chester Le Street have a great youth development system, which is well founded by decades of operation, so this could be a relatively tough first round tie for our U18s.

A good FA Youth cup run is great for future player recruitment, due to press interest and building of attendances at games.

The 2 away venues are easy to reach and have above average facilities in the splendid NL.

Match attendance would be a great antidote to staying at home and watching TV.

Clitheroe Kids (one for us oldies).

I assume its a "home" game.

Darlington RA may be a popular venue.

That's not really a home game is it? I was planning to go if it had been local.

Well if that's not a compounding reason to reverse the decision I don't know what is.

That's a good draw and it gives the lads a chance to progress further in the competition.

Only if it's international week and Toon, Mackems & Boro don't play.

The younguns lost last night 4-2, so Rochdale will have to wait for another year!
