13th August - Darlo v Boston

Does anybody know if this game is confirmed as a home fixture?

I was told HP wasnt going to be ready until the backend of August but havent seen confirmation anywhere from us or Bishop Auckland.

I am led to believe that HP pitch will be touch and go for then. We are due to play our 1st home game at HP v Marske Utd on Tues 16th Aug.

How is HP looking, already grass on the pitch over a week ago from what I have seen but I guess it's not so much grass the issue it's how the pitch beds in with the drainage.

Marske are Bishops opponents in the Northern League.

If the rate the grass on my lawn is growing is anything to go by, HP will be ready. Nothing quite like a bit of warmth, sunshine and regular cloudbursts to make the groundsman busy.

We have got to be expecting close to capacity for the first home game of the season, so all ticket would be a wise move for me. Can't wait for it!!
