I've heard we're playing Bishop Auckland, South Shields and Gateshead away mid July.

Apparently Bishop Auckland are playing all of their friendlies away from home due to the extensive pitch repairs that are taking place.

Neutral venue perhaps as our pitch is undergoing major remedial work and wont be available for any pre season friendlies.

Does this mean if Blackwell Meadows isn't ready for the new season, then chances are that Heritage Park would not be available either?

It's believed the FA are announcing the League Structure on Thu 12th May according to Stourbridge and others twitter accounts. Presume the North/South playoff teams left will not affect the structure or they won't announce Step 2 at that point due to play off finals not being until Sat 14th.

New signings - hopefully something to report soon on this, goes without saying but I believe Gray has been busy on this front.

A cup run is pivotal next season, we can't afford not to take it seriously from now on. We're ahead of schedule, we've had three promotions, time to get some money in the coffers.

Entering the FA Cup at the 2nd Qual means win 2 games and you can be drawn against a Conference Premier side. Win/draw that game and your in the hat for the first round on tv which would be brilliant.

In terms of the trophy we come in at the final qualifying round, one win and you've potentially got a tie against a Conference Premier side.

Are Cartman Gaskell and Portas already on one year + contracts? they have been key players for us, would be great if we can them on 2 year deals like some of the others.
Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc.Image

Portas signed a 'long-term' contract last summer.

Cartman joined on a two and a half year contract when he signed, so this runs out the end of next season.

Gaskell I believe isn't contracted at the moment.

We usually get a Sunderland team of some form over pre-season don't we?

Might get another game with York as well with us only being one division apart now.

With drainage works apparently being the pacing items at both locations it may mean we are off to Spennymoor again for what should have been very lucrative friendlies and the first home games.

Durham City's ex ground may be a supermarket or a demolition site by July / August.

No it won't because Durham Women play there in the Women's Super League which runs through the summer. Seriously, do you ever think before you post?

League allocations are out. No surprises at our level. http://www.thefa.com/news/my-football/c ... -17-120516

The most interesting changes come at Step 4, with Northwich Victoria and Witton Albion shuffled across.

I say interesting - geeks like me find it interesting anyway.

I would say that Northwich should walk that but with gannon gone and a few of their players off they might not. Read their striker is off to barrow

Can we not arrange for it to renew our mutual friendship with West?

Lovely venue if you haven't been before it's well worth a visit. Especially if theres no rain and they get their barbies fired up.

I saw this too. Intriguing. Could be actual work related though. In my opinion he won't be missed if he does leave. Yes he scored some fantastic goals and a few important ones. But he didn't graft enough for me, and my bugbare was he never released the ball at the right time. I find him very frustrating to watch. He also really struggled midweek too with the travelling. Armstrong's departure was more of an upset for me as at the end he finally got back to the PLayer we know him to be.

Gaskell is a keeper and we'd miss him if he went to play somewhere else.

I thought we'd signed Bell as a backup keeper we don't need another.
