Beyond giving a toss!!

In. And don't go suggesting Dave Hodgson as a fooking replacement either.

In - see where we are at the end of February and review what improvements were made/not made.
Re: Straw Poll - Staunton - In or Out?
In - as Quakerz says, no need to change until March as we're down and it will have given Raj almost 6 months to evaluate. If he's not the man for the job then a new man needs a couple of months to see what he's got here (not much) and to start identifying players dependant on what the budget will be
one small silver lining to us getting relegated so early on in the season would be that we'd have plenty of time to know what budget a new man would have to work with - its always difficult if your just in with a shout of relegation/promotion as any future planning cant be started until later.

In - but slightly reluctant.
I wanted Todd to be given more time so I'd be a complete hypocrite to call for Staunton's head now. Still don't like the cavalier way he has treated Todd's better signings. Devitt, Chandler, Gall, Plummer....

Gall, Plummer

This. People are questioning Staunton's signings, and some of them have been less than impressive, but he hasn't had a transfer window to work with yet. So let's see how that works out.Quakerz wrote:In - see where we are at the end of February and review what improvements were made/not made.

IN - it would be insane to sack him and replace him with another manager who will subsequently want to rebuild the squad again with no guarantee of success. It was only a few games ago when everyone was positive about our chances (after the Burton home win?), yet 3 losses have turned him into the spawn of Satan. Give the guy a chance. If we are relegated in an embarrassing fashion then we can simply not renew his one year contract.

In, he hasn't enough time and he's had to deal with Todd's wank signings.

In. Changing it now wouldn't do us any good. At all. Ever.

In.
But don't renew his contract when we go down.

Re: Straw Poll - Staunton - In or Out?
Does it even matter? This season is a complete write off already. Id give Staunton a window to sign his own players and look to offload a few of the others. It would be harsh to sack him and we are not going to be attracting better managers in our current position.
Just as an aside I think the people who booed at the end against Bradford are complete fookwits. Were they expecting three points? We were simply beaten by a side that was better than us. It wasnt through lack of effort or endeavour and was a drastic improvement on the previous homegame. Nobody expects you to be happy about defeat but their are ways of conducting yourself and that oozed of a lack of class from some of our fans.

OUT, there is still time to get out of trouble, no need to throw the towel in yet when there are so many points to play for. It`s only early December for gods sake.

IN. Unless Staunton opts to walk out without a pay-off, which would be fine by me. Sacking another manager is just not an option financially, simple as that.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion!
