In - he needs a transfer window to offload (if at all possible) the gash and allow him to bring in 'his' permanent signings. He is working with what is hugely Todd's squad and budget constraints that severly cripple his ability to bring suitable quality in.

....plus, we'd have to pay his contract until next summer too and we are fooked anyhow.

In
"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883

Given the vast majority want him to give him the rest of the season I dont see why it has become an issue so fast on here. Once again the minority of idiots have created an issue that to be fair isnt really there to be debated.

I agree, but are you the same Andy Park as before, with all the bold and the italics... or have you discovered irony?

As much as I dislike the guy, it'll do us no favours getting rid of him now. I hate teams that ditch their managers every 3 months.

I don't know why everyone keeps bleating on about the transfer window....... even if the guy was given a couple of miullion to spend in the transfer window, he wouldn't have a prayer in keeping us up. He was never the right man for the job but now we've made our bed and now we're going to fooking rot in it.

Its good to see that at least Quakerz is remaining loyal to Staunton.

I've seen enough already - his attitude and man-management are crap. He never shows any praise or encouragement at the Arena. He is a bully who is not geared up to manage at this level.

Please walk Stan before I send for my mates in Hereford to have you removed. :(

Agreed, with him walking.

I really don't want to see us pay him off. If we're going to pay him off then put him on paid leave and have the job managed from within the club so there is no extra expenditure.

How much time does Thommo have spare during the week?

Thommo has NO spare time - he spends all week changing names and numbers on shirts!!
