I know some of our Lads are running on empty but that is still a very strong squad. Let's get the job finished tonight Lads.

So if we draw on Thursday, Blyth would need a 10 goal reverse against us on Saturday to in the league.

As good as we could have hoped for a week ago.

In reality, 11 goals Spyman, as we've scored more goals.

Aye. Whitby safe as of tonight not really up for it going to the last game but if it does so be it. There is something to be said of cramming the games in terms of not having to wait very long for things to be decided.

If we do win the next 2 games 12 points in 7 days must be close to a record for us?

Ref had a mare for the last 20 minutes of the game today.

Gotta make a special shout out as well to the helmets that set off a flare at the final whistle... Lads you deserve a pat on the back... The news cameras were even there to catch all of your efforts to make the game special

No cards, no bad injuries, clean sheet.

Whitby will want to give us a real game, but the Darlo team should be relatively well rested after two "quieter" halves on Sunday & Tuesday.

Armstrong, Cartman & Mitchell are pretty well rested and Portas is back from his knock & in good form. "Tired" Thommo showed his fitness.

Weldon & Purewal are pushing for game time.

Darlo's players will be straining at the bit to be fit and play at Whitby and I expect the lucky ones to be on fire, to top off a very high performance season.

Stats go out the window, but the impressive team effort to achieve 65 points in the last 25 games should not be wasted.

Darlo will need to play with their recent grit, passion and skill to lift the title on Thursday.

Another 1,000 plus Darlo invasion of Whitby expected.

1 more goal for 100 goals as well as the 101 points we have, bloody hell never thought I would see Darlo with 100+ points and we still need more to win the title.

Ground it out, without really getting out of second gear. Shame that Rushall couldn't do us a favour tonight, but in 48 hours time(!) it could all be over. There's some tired legs out there now, but we're so close. Whatever happens, to crack 100 points is something to be applauded. A phenomenal effort.

Roll on Thursday...

Pleasing to see us go into a 2 goal lead as quick as we did, allowed the lads to slow it down for the rest of the game and save abit of energy
