Traditionally Darlo dont do Simple, however the current Darlo are breaking traditions.
Re: Just SEVEN more points.
Surely its 8 points, I know 7 will likely be enough, but 7 wouldnt guarantee it.
3 x 4 nil wins for Blythe, and 2 x 1 nil wins, a draw and a 3 nil loss will see us in 2nd.
Sorry I hate tempting fate

Re: Just SEVEN more points.
Thats about as likely as somebody hitting four sixes in the last over of a world T20. Or Mr Consistent Jordan Speith blowing up halfway through the last round
Re: Just SEVEN more points.
I reckon wins against Grantham and Stamford might actually be enough...
Re: Just SEVEN more points.
Exactly - quite an unlikely set of circumstances required for 7 points not to be enough.shawry wrote:Surely its 8 points, I know 7 will likely be enough, but 7 wouldnt guarantee it.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Just SEVEN more points.
I said in a previous post that I could see one more defeat in Blyth, and I can see one more. I think if Matlock weren't playing tonight they may well have given them a match on Saturday.. And still might. But they also have Rushall to play who incidently were no push over at our place.

Re: Just SEVEN more points.
better scenario is when we win Saturday, and if blyth do lose again, we'd only need 1 point from 3 games, as we'd be 5 ahead and they would have 2 games left.
Re: Just SEVEN more points.
Put it this way. If someone said you could have 2 wins, a draw and a defeat from the next 4 games or have a 50/50 chance of either 6 or 8 points, I'd take option one.

I think Blyth have some decisions to make about resting players, they won't want to shoot themselves in the foot with suspension/injury/fatigue chasing an unlikely cause. Maybe get the weekend out of the way and provided we win they may field a few changes for their Tuesday match

I think you're getting a little carried away - On Saturday if we lose (possible) and they win (possible) then what?DL5 wrote:I think Blyth have some decisions to make about resting players, they won't want to shoot themselves in the foot with suspension/injury/fatigue chasing an unlikely cause. Re: Just SEVEN more points.
All that matters is tomorrow's match and making sure we get three points from it.
Stamford could be relegated tomorrow, so have to come out and try to win the game. It won't be easy, and they did take points off Salford last week.
It's in our hands and so as long as we do our job and keep winning, we've no need to worry about Blyth (although a slip-up from them at Matlock would come in handy).

That's why I said Tuesday IF we win on Saturday.theoriginalfatcat wrote:I think you're getting a little carried away - On Saturday if we lose (possible) and they win (possible) then what?DL5 wrote:I think Blyth have some decisions to make about resting players, they won't want to shoot themselves in the foot with suspension/injury/fatigue chasing an unlikely cause. Matlock managed a 3-0 away at Ramsbottom, so hopefully this did not take too much out of them and they could do us a favour against Blyth.Chopper wrote:I said in a previous post that I could see one more defeat in Blyth, and I can see one more.
