Speaking of favourite referees

Post by RUMPLESTILTSKIN » Mon Mar 07, 2016 10:31 am

Anyone remember Maurice Fussey with his sideburns and ability to run backwards as fast as he could run forwards. I seem to recall he was always well received at Darlo matches with cheers greeting his first backward sprint up the field. In the 60's every one was on something.

Wasn't Kirkpatrick the one who ran with his knees reaching his chin in every stride.
