Darlington FC v Buxton
Not been that much rain about, hopefully the game can go ahead.

chucking it down now but no idea how long it`s supposed to last
Re: Darlington FC v Buxton
The good news is we had very little reason in Bishop today. Had a look over to Hp at 5 after work, from a distance there didn't appear to be any standing water although the centre circle didn't look great.
If we can get through tonight and tomorrow with very little rain I think we have a good chance of the game being on.
Let's just hope the wind machine is switched off for kick off.

Certainly had less rain today than what was expected, wind is due to drop tomorrow about 4pm.
Hopefully we will get a game on.

Was I hell as like. The youngun' and I sat in the main stand. Sadly, the strong easterly breeze meant the roof offered no protection to the elements, and by element i mean; FLYING ICE.Emdubya wrote:You weren't one of the heroes (or nutcases )stood behind the goal were you?.Agreed,it was a tad nippy!.dickdarlington wrote:Get in.

Re: Darlington FC v Buxton
Does anyone know if the A1 southbound overnight road closures have finished?
After the Whitby match it took me an extra hour to get home. If the A1 road closure is still in effect I'll head over to the A19.
Thanks for any info.

Darlo subs:- Provett, Portas, Armstrong, Dowson, Nowakowski.
So we didn't lose our star striker on deadline day then.

Agreed, but it wasn't that pleasant. I thought the crowd looked like 850. Hopefully we'll get over a 1000 this coming Saturday and if we get another win, then I'd expect towards a 100o next Tuesday.

Re: Darlington FC v Buxton
We were lucky with our first goal, as I don't think we should have had a corner in the build up to our equaliser.
