Burgess converts from close-range after a move that began with two crunching Brown tackles. Thompson delivered ball into area for Burgess.

Adam Mitchell also deserves credit. After Gary Brown won the ball, Mitchell advanced and picked out Stephen Thompson on the left.

HT: A deserved 1-0 lead for Darlington. They would be further ahead were it not for a handful of fine saves by Marine keeper Matthew Cooper.

Sounds like we were well on top, but apparently we did have the wind behind us. Hopefully we can get the win as we could really do with 3 points!

The attendance is 552. That’s 552 freezing individuals who should know better than to spend a winter afternoon outside in this weather.

According to Flashscores, our game on Tuesday is already postponed. Are they simply wrong, or does anybody know anything?
