Dan Burn
Sheffield United are after Dan 3rd offer. Are we on for any more cash? if so the timing could not be better.
Re: Dan Burn
Keep everything crossed.
Re: Dan Burn
Might just be rumor mill but I think the percentage of any sale of Burn that we retained was around the 9% mark

Re: Dan Burn
Hummmm will sheff United stump up enough cash for Fulham to make a profit? Didn't they pay £400k for Burn anyway - wouldn't we only get 9% of anything above that?

Any cash would be most welcome with the present situation.lo36789 wrote:Hummmm will sheff United stump up enough cash for Fulham to make a profit? Didn't they pay £400k for Burn anyway - wouldn't we only get 9% of anything above that?
Re: Dan Burn
Indeed - any money. Depending on how terms are laid out he could be sold for £400k and we get nothing. If we get 9% of transfer fee regardless that almost wiped out our annual shortfall - so it's quite a pertinent point!
Re: Dan Burn
I think he is in the final year of his contract now so hard to see us receiving anything beyond the January window.
Re: Dan Burn
If he moved for any money at all I think we would still.be in for some kind of solidarity payment as we were involved in the training of Burn up until he was 18 or 19
Re: Dan Burn
I *think* the solidarity payment would only be applicable if Burn moved across the border.JE93 wrote:If he moved for any money at all I think we would still.be in for some kind of solidarity payment as we were involved in the training of Burn up until he was 18 or 19
Re: Dan Burn
DB playing today at Sheff Wednesday. Hope he plays well and United have some people watching so that he can impress. Trouble is that Hillsborough is probably a place they wouldn't want to be seen at!

Voted man of the match at sheffield wednesday by fulham fans. Could strengthen fulham resolve to keep him.

So that'll be 6 fans who could have voted.meadowlark wrote:Voted man of the match at sheffield wednesday by fulham fans. Could strengthen fulham resolve to keep him.
Re: Dan Burn
Clearly it is just journalist talk but I am surprised about that. With him being in last year of his contract I expected a measly fee. If he went for that it would be Dan Burn saving DFC once again!quakersam wrote:3rd bid reported to have been made

Re: Dan Burn
Not exactly what we wanted to hear, see below. MoM Saturday. Talk previous week of £900k fee.
With the 27 year old set to sign for the West London club, it is believed that Fulham Manager Slavisa Jokanovic is now looking to trim his squad with defenders Dan Burn and Shaun Hutchinson possibly leaving the club on loan deals.
Former Darlington defender Burn is understood to be wanted by League 1 club Sheffield United who are looking to bolster their promotion push. Blades Manager Nigel Adkins has seen bids for the big centre half rejected last summer but it is understood that Fulham could be willing to loan the player out now that a suitable replacement has been found.

Re: Dan Burn
I can't understand why they would loan him out and turn down 900k seeing as he's out of contract at the end of the season? If he was surplus to requirements surely they'd accept a fee rather than let him go for nothing...tezza wrote:Not exactly what we wanted to hear, see below. MoM Saturday. Re: Dan Burn
It doesn't make sense for Fulham to get rid of arguably their best defender to another club on loan.

Re: Dan Burn
Mixed messages coming out of Fulham. Its hard to grasp any logic as to why they would consider letting him go, even less on loan. See below from a fan
"It is very pleasing to see Jokanovic keep faith in towering defender Dan Burn who has been an ever-present since he took over. Burn has always impressed me since making his debut under Rene Meulensteen and I believed he should have been the first name on the team sheet in recent seasons. With a run of games we are starting to see the best of the Burn.
He was man of the match against Hull with his no nonsense approach to defending, Burn cleaned up on numerous times and made a number of important tackles to prevent Abel Hernandez from leading a counter attack"
I wonder if he is unsettled ?

Re: Dan Burn
For what it is worth, Fulham just announced that they will NOT be selling Dembele or McCormack During the transfer window.
Given their transfer embargo that probably makes it a little more likely of a deal for Burn. ?
Interesting between now and 11am Monday.
